Straightening out the patients: Get ready for explaining the situation to the patient and the family members so that they have better understanding of the onset and prognosis of deafness. As for impetuous and irascible patients, it is advisable to tell them the protracted nature of the course of disease and rehabilitation treatment. Ask them to cultivate the mind, overcome impetuosity and irascibility and be patient and perseverant in treatment. For those patients who are passive and pessimistic, encourage them positively, build up their confidence, bestir themselves, overcome their mental burden. Ask the patients to appreciate music, practice calligraphy and painting, watch fish and raise flowers. These activities may make people have ease of mind and overcome bad emotions.
