Points:

Anmian 1 & Anmian 2 (extra points)

Anmian 1, at the midpoint between Yifeng (Sj 17) and Yiming (extra), situated in the ster-nocleidomastoid muscle, at the inferior border of the mastoid process, 1 cun posterior to Yifeng

Anmian 2, at the midpoint between Fengchi (GB 20) and Yiming

Puncture:

With a 2 cun needle, puncture perpendicularly up to 1.5 cun. Thrust and rotate the needle gently. Apply to Anmian 1 and Anmian 2, one side only.
