2. 3. 1 Acupoints on the head and neck

2.3.1.1 Sishencong (EX- HN 1)
Location: A group of four acupoints, at the vertex, 1 cun respectively posterior, anterior, and lateral to Baihui (GV 20) (see Fig. 97).
Indications: Headache, vertigo, insomnia, amnesia and epilepsy.
2.3.1.2 Yintang (EX- HN 3)
Location: This acupoint is located midway between the medial ends of the two eyebrows (see Fig. 98).
Indications: Headache, vertigo, epistaxis, nasosi-nusitis, infantile convulsion, insomnia and sunstroke.
2.3.1.3 Taiyang (EX- HN 5)
Location: This acupoint is located between the lateral end of the eyebrow and the outer canthus and in the de-pression about one finger-breadth posterior (see Fig. 99).
Indications: Migraine, headache and eye disorders.
2.3.1.4 Jinjin, Yuye (EX- HN 12)
Location: This acupoint is located on the veins on both sides of the frenulum of the tongue (see Fig. 100).
Indications: Oral sore, tongue swelling, vomiting and diabetes.
2.3.1.5 Yiming (EX-HN 13)
Location: This acupoint is located 1 cun posterior to Yifeng (TE 17) (see Fig. 99).
Indications: Eye disorders, tinnitus and insomnia.
