At present, development and study on Tianqi are on the rise in China and other countries. The resources of Zhuang medicines produced mainly or especially in the region of the Zhuang ethnic group have much space for further development. These medicines include fructus momordicae, cinnamon, star anise, honeysuckle, gecko, anaconda,
kudzuvine root, pollen, Guangxi desmodium, winter creeper euonymus, ants of the Dahei Mountain, kapok, etc. Especially, the development and comprehensive use of Tianqi has won high marks from experts and local government. A certain production scale has been formed in Guangxi for medicines such as Zhenggushui, Yunxiangjing, Zhonghua Diedawan, Jinji Soluble Cases, Yanjianning, Sanjin Pills, Bainianle and Dalishen. In recent years, the Guangxi Research Institute of Medicines of Minority Ethnic groups has developed the "Shujie Medical Bra", "Bath Shampoo for Lying-In Women", "Shennule" bath shampoo, "Tongreqing" oral liquid and "Taihuaxiao" oral liquid. Most of them were successfully made on the basis of research into and arrangement of secret empirical prescriptions of Zhuang medicine.
