For treatment, enema can be used, plus oral administration of sesame oil diluted with some boiled water, or with a recipe of powder made of Fructus Terminalia chebula, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, sodium bicarbonate, or scorched radish mixed with butter, and then inserted in the rectum.

Treatment: Oral administration of Wu-peng Powder (see above), plus Semen Cassia obtusifolia, Resina Boswellia carterii and Semen Abebneschus. On the basis of this, variations can be made based on the manifestations. For instance, Fructus Myristica should be added when yin predominates, Herba Swertia purpurnscens added when mkhris pa predominates, and Fructus Elettaria added when badkan is predominant.

For topical treatment, a powder made by grinding residue of spirit, realgar, clay, black alum, Fructus Elettaria, Herba Corollium, Sal Ammoniacum, Herba Oxytropis and Radix Aconiti tangutica, is applied. For cases with predominant rlung disease, use butter for mixing; for those with predominant mkhris-pa, use a child's urine for mixing; for those with predominant badkan, use bee honey for mixing.
