Chinese Medicine Diet Due With Allergic asthma
a. Gingko. Cook 12 g gingko flesh in water for 20 minutes. Then add honey or white sugar and drink. Administer once daily. Interrupt after one week's dosage. Not suitable for children. It is indicated for excessive and heat asthma. b. Ginseng and spinach dumpling: Make 1,500 g spinach paste with its leaves. Squeeze out the juice and discard the residue. Slice 10 g ginseng into thin pieces after moistening and then bake it dry. Ground the ginseng pieces as powder. Then mix the spinach paste, ginseng powder together with suitable amount of salt, soybean sauce, Chinese prickly ash powder, and free pieces of ginger and shallot, and sesame oil. The paste is served as stuffed material for dumplings. This recipe can be served constantly and is indicated for deficient type of allergic asthma. c. Pork with caterpillar fungus: Cut 150 g pork into pieces and boil it in water for a little while. Put it in a pot and add 10 g caterpillar fungus with other flavouring materials. After boiling, simmer it with slow fire to form concentrated broth. Take it at a draught. It is also good for deficient type. d. Ephedrine and apricot-nut porridge: Boil 5 g ephedrine herb in 300ml water for five minutes and discard the herb. Put 15 g peeled sweet apricot nut and boil until almost well e. Pig's lung soup with tumip and water chestnut: Cut 150 g white turnip into pieces and slice water chestnut and pig's lung. Cook these three ingredients together until the lung is well done, and serve. It is indicated for heat type. f. Pig's lung soup of turnip and apricot nut: The process of cooking is the same as in "f', only substitute water chestnut with sweet peeled apricot nut. It is indicated for cold type asthma.
