The Relationsahip Between TCM and Prevention

On 15th July 2006, there were about 15 medical experts who come from Australia visited TCM Center Guilin and attended the symposium about the relationsahip between TCM and prevention. The symposium lasted for 6 days: 4 days for TCM study and 2 days for Guilin sightseeing around Guilin.

TCM believes that man lives amidst the universe and his vital activities are inevitably influenced by the natural laws of material movement. Therefore, all the activities of the human body inevitably has formed close patterns with nature. The relationship between vital activities of the human body and nature as well as society should be harmonious and orderly. Otherwise, it is not good for health. This is the thought of "man's relevant adaptation to nature" and "unity of physique and spirit. "Accordingly, special emphasis is placed on the harmony between man and natural and social environments.

The arrangement of the academic exchange was as folllows:

DAY 1:Morning: Study TCM therapy, such as Yin and Yang, four diagnosis,natural therapy and so on.

Afternoon: Enjoy foot massage and experience acupuncture and Qigong, view the Taichi show.

DAY 2: Morning: Study the natural therapeutic methods of Life cultivation and rehabilitation based on the traditional chinese medicine.It included the several section such as how to regulate the emotions,some health care care methods in the sexual life and so on.

DAY 3: Study some techniques of TCM life cultivation and rehabilitation,such as the acupuncture therapy,massage therapy and so on.

DAY 4:Morning: Study some method how to prevent and treat the commonly-seen disease based on the chinese medicine such as the low fever,cough ,edema and so on.

Afternoon: continue to study some method how to prevent and treat the senile disease such as the hypertension,hypotension and so on.

After the four days study,the experts went to signseeing around Guilin for two days and one night.

The first day,went to Longsheng and enjoyed the Longsheng Ailing Hot spring,experienced the healthy feeling between relaxation and recuperate.

The second day,went to Yangshuo and appreciated the beautiful attraction in Yangsuo.At night,appreciated the Impression Sister Liu.This is a big performance with natural stage on water that you might have never seen or experienced before.

All of them are got the TCM knowledge and mastered the skillful treatment technique in our TCM Center and enjoy the beautiful scenery and breathe flesh air in our city.They returned happily!
