Gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang

Distribution lines of gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang: Gallbladder meridian starts from lateral side of groin and passes superior aspect of hip joint then curves to posterior side of hip joint and descends along lateral side of thigh to knee joint, it passes lower aspect of capitulum fibulae and descends along fibula then goes lateral malleolus and passes between the fourth digit of foot and the fifth digit of foot to lateral aspect of the fourth digit of foot. It diverges at ankle joint and runs obliquely along dorsum of foot to lateral side of big toe.

Crossing meridians and collaterals of gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang: gallbladder meridian crosses bladder meridian at Huantiao acupoint, crosses liver meridian at Guangming acupoint, crosses bladder meridian and stomach meridian at Xuanzhong acupoint and crosses liver meridian at Dadun acupoint.

Origination acupoints of gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang: Huantiao, Fengshi, Zhongdu, Yangguan, Yanglingquan, Yangjiao, Waiqiu, Guangming, Yangfu, Xuanzhong, Qiuxu, Linqi, Diwuhui, Xiaxi, Qiaoyin.

Distribution lines of collateral of gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang: collateral of gallbladder meridian diverges two branches from Guangming acupoint. One branch crosses spleen meridian and another branch descends front of the regular meridian then is distributed in dorsum of foot.

Bladder meridian of foot-taiyang

Distribution lines of bladder meridian of foot-taiyang: Bladder meridian descends at Feiyang acupoint which is at lateral side of gastrocnemius and passes between tendo calcaneus and fibula then goes posterior side of lateral malleolus, it passes along lateral side of foot to lateral aspect of little toe.

Yang heel vessel

Distribution lines of yang heel vessel: Yang heel vessel diverges from Shenmai acupoint which is at bladder meridian and ascends along bladder meridian then runs upward directly at Fuyang acupoint and passes lateral aspects of knee joint and thigh to anterior side of hip joint; it ascends to Juliao acupoint and crosses gallbladder meridian.

Yang link vessel

Distribution lines of yang link vessel: yang link vessel diverges from Jinmen acupoint which is at bladder meridian and ascends to gallbladder meridian then crosses gallbladder meridian at Yangguan acupoint. It runs obliquely backward at 1/3 of thigh and intersects yang heel vessel then ascends upward along posterior border of hip joint.
