Composition  This group of acupoints is composed of the two points on the lateral side of the leg (Fig. 3 -91 ).

Location  One point is on the upper part of the lateral side of the leg, 4 cun below the midline of the patella, 1.5 cun lateral to the point between the tibia and fibula.The other point is on the lower part of the lateral side of the leg, 4.5 cun above the upper border of the external malleolus, 4 points on both sides, i.e. one point is 1.5 cun lateral to Zusanli (ST36) and the other point 1.5 cun above Xuanzhong.

Indications  Sequela of poliomyelitis.

Methods  The needle is inserted O. 5 - 1.5 cun. The acu-esthesia of soreness and numbness will be obtained in the external malleolus and instep.
