Points of Lower Extremities, EX-UE

Lineiting(EX-LE3)

Location: On the foot palm, in the depression anterior to the second and third metatarsophalangeal joint.

Locating Methods: Keep prone position, fix Lineiting(EX-LE3) opposite to the Neiting.

Acupoint in anatomy:
Skin----- subcutaneous tissue--- lLateral plantar interosseous muscle. The skin is distributed by common plantar digital nerves of the medial plantar nerve.

Needling and moxibustion
1. Needling: perpendicular needling 0.3-0.5 cun, needling feeling: partially swelling and aching.

Moxibustion: warm moxibustion 3-5 cones, moxa stick for 5-10 minutes.

Function and Indication: epilepsia, bone spasm, numb on the foot toe.
