The lately British research showed that: If men ate peas two to three meals a week can reduce the risk of prostate cancer and carcinoma in situ proliferation. British Food Research Institute Professor Richard• Mithen led this study. He made the men who existed prostate cancer risks eat 400 grams of peas per week of in addition to normal diet within 12 months.
The researchers extracted the blood and tissue samples from volunteers’ prostate in the beginning trial, the sixth month, and the twelfth month respectively，they adopted the chip technology for determination of expression of each gene.
Study revealed: gene expression of men who often eat peas has a lot of changes, these changes reduce the terrible risk of prostate cancer.
