Sinus refers to a pathological tube with the external orifice but without the internal hole for connection. Its feature is that the tube connects the body surface from the deep tissues, with only one external orifice and without connection of the internal organs. Most of sinus is fine and narrow in long length, either straight or curved. It belongs to the category of "Fistula" in Chinese medicine.
