Key points for diagnosis
(1) History of amenorrhea and early pregnancy manifestations; positive pregnancy test, acute reduction of hematochrome and emptiness of the uterus indicated by ultrasonic B examination.
(2) Abdominal pain, irregular vaginal bleeding, syncope and coma due to acute abdominal hemorrhage and sharp abdominal pain, tenderness and rebound pain in the lower abdomen as well as mobile dull sound in percussion.
(3) Gynecological examination.. Fullness and tenderness in the posterior fornix, evident pain in raising and shaking the uterus, slight enlargement and softness of the uterus, floating sensation in the uterus, tumescent mass palpable in one side or in the posterior side of the uterus and withdrawal of uncoagulated blood from the posterior fornix by puncture.
(4) Heterotopic pregnancy should be differentiated from uterine pregnancy abortion, rupture of yellow body,acute appendicitis and torsion of ovarian cyst.
