Introduction
Atrophic rhinitis is the atrophy of the nasal mucosa and submucous layer, even turbinate periost and substance of bone. Its incidence is higher in young women and its main symptoms include dry nasal cavity, scanty nasal discharge or without nasal discharge, yellowishgreenish dry crust, and frequent nasal bleeding, etc. Examination shows atrophy of the nasal conchae and wide nasal cavity.
